To accomplish the mission of the Poultry Microbiological Safety Research Unit scientists are working in cooperation with regulatory personnel (FSIS, APHIS), poultry and red meat companies, and university faculty and graduate students.

ARS continually looks for opportunities to partner with private sector businesses, other federal agencies, state and local governments, universities, and its customers. These partnerships are designed to augment research programs, expedite research results to the private sector, exchange information and knowledge, stimulate new business and economic development, enhance U.S. trade, preserve the environment, and improve the quality of life for all Americans.

Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADA), Material Transfer Agreements (MTA), Confidentiality Agreements (CA) , Memorandums of Understanding (MOU), and Trust Funds (Trust) are agreements used to exchange ideas and methodologies deemed beneficial to all parties.

For more information about CRADA agreements in our area please contact the Technology Transfer Coordinator for the South Atlantic, Mid South Area.
