Scientific staffs at the SIMRU hold PhD degrees and specialize in entomology, plant physiology, plant genetics, molecular biology, soil science, microbiology and agricultural engineering.  Technical staffs have B.S. or M.S. degrees in biologically or agriculturally related fields.  The laboratory also has administrative staffs that provide assistance in personnel management, finance, computer systems and clerical fields. SIMRU hires students in various roles throughout the unit during the school year and each summer.  Please click the following link student or summer employment if you are interested in obtaining information.
