The SARU offices and labs are located on the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus. Since its establishment in Alaska, SARU has released more than 40 cultivars of potatoes, barley, raspberry, and grasses. Research performed in Alaska has enhanced the productivity, profitability, and environmental quality of Alaska's farming and fishing industries and natural resource areas.
