Research Project: PILOT TESTING PROJECT FOR ANIMAL NARMS SAMPLING - UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA Project Number: 0204-41510-001-35

Objective:
Provide epidemiologic expertise and to coordinate the poultry sampling for antimicrobial resistance.

Approach:
A network of Universities and ARS scientists are participating in pilot testing program for animal sampling. This agreement provides for the coordination of poultry sampling, and will conduct sampling of poultry on-farm for antimicrobial resistance prevalence for Campylobacter and Salmonella. This project will collect fecal samples, do culture, and primary characterization of the samples.
